Dealing with candida

When candida takes hold it can cause widespread problems in your body and go beyond a primary yeast infection resulting in systemic candida infection. The major symptom I have found is a distinct debilitating anxiety which doesn't make you inactive so much as in it makes most interactions a struggle of endurance. There are many theories on both cause and cure alike. A cause for a lot of people can be attribruted to antibiotics which diminish the good bacteria in the small intestine. In my experience diet seems to be my root. Certainly as a child it would be considered normal to consume the higher sugar content produce that was made available at the time thus feeding the candida with this sugar to an excessive extent. Also the over processed nature of foods I've come to conclude is a causative factor in this condition.
As for theories on cures there are many which include antifungal herbs such as turmeric, oregano, pau d'arco and cinnamon plus there's garlic. All viable options as adjuncts on the road to a cure. Also there's probiotics in concentrated form or live plain yoghurt. Then there's the usual low carbohydrate candida diet avoiding refined sugars. All warranting attention. But perhaps a more dynamic option is one the fruitarians have already found where the body adapts to deal with a natural unprocessed sugar source.
